Dr. Sahar Ahmad Aoude
Founding member
Dr. Sahar Aoude is an educator and food security specialist with over a decade of experience in higher education, training and educational management. She holds a Ph.D. in Pathology, Toxicology, Genetics and Nutrition, an Agricultural Engineering Diploma, and a Graduate Diploma in Food Security from AUB. Her professional experience spans academia, school leadership, professional training, food security, and international emergency and security work with the United Nations. As a founding member of UpSkills Learning, she is passionate about inclusive, practical and future-focused education that strengthens youth skills, resilience and opportunity in Lebanon.
Salem Maher Al-Hajj Ali
Founding member
Salem Maher Al-Hajj Ali is a banking and compliance professional with over 20 years of experience in customer relations, compliance and onboarding operations. He currently leads the digital onboarding team at Neo by Bank Audi, overseeing individual and business account onboarding — including corporations, establishments and freelancers — while ensuring full adherence to KYC, AML and regulatory requirements. Before that, he held multiple roles across customer service, operations and compliance at Bank Audi (2010–2024), following earlier experience as a bank teller at Byblos Bank and as a Finance Officer at the Mines Advisory Group, where he prepared financial reports and supported budgeting and forecasting. Salem holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from the Lebanese University's Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration, in Management and in Accounting and Finance. He is fluent in Arabic, English and French, and enjoys studying, composing and playing music on the qanun.
